CONTRIBUTING YOUR STRENGTHS: YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • B.Sc. or M.Sc. Computer Science or a related technical field, with a specialization in Analytics Platform Engineering
  • Experience in designing and building analytics platforms using cloud technologies, with a strong emphasis on scalability and automation
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and Databricks/Spark using Python
  • Proven experience in ELT/ETL and data modeling (Star Schema/Kimball)
  • Experience with the Azure technology stack
  • Experience with Microsoft analytics technologies on-premises (SSIS, SSAS, Power BI Report Server)
  • Excellent communication skills in both German and English, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly and effectively
Responsibilities

  • Enhance and expand our analytics platform, primarily built around Databricks and Microsoft Power BI, to provide advanced data processing and analytics capabilities
  • Develop central libraries, templates and streamlined processes to facilitate efficient data ingestion, management and analytics workflows for the Liebherr Group
  • Drive the evolution of our data platform by staying ahead of trends in the fast-paced Data and AI landscape, integrating innovative solutions and technologies
  • Strengthen our analytics infrastructure by implementing robust security measures, monitoring systems, auditing processes and data observability practices
  • Empower colleagues across the Liebherr Group by providing expert guidance, best practices, and architectural blueprints for analytics platform engineering
