As a Data Engineer (m/f/d), you will actively shape the digital future of the TURCK Group. You will create the foundation for data-driven decisions, analytics, and AI applications across the entire company. Working closely with business units and IT teams, you will harmonize data from a heterogeneous system landscape, establish a company-wide Common Data Model, and develop a future-proof data platform as the basis for transparency, automation, and innovation. 

Your tasks: 

• Development, operation and continuous improvement of an enterprise-wide data platform including Lakehouse architecture and data pipelines 
• Conception and maintenance of a company-wide Common Data Model to create a consistent “Single Source of Truth” 
• Integration and harmonization of data from ERP, CRM, e-commerce, DMS, cloud and SaaS systems 
• Ensuring high data quality through the introduction of appropriate standards, processes and governance structures. 
• Providing scalable data products for reporting, self-service analytics, Power BI, and AI and machine learning applications. 
• Contributing to the data and AI strategy, evaluating new technologies and establishing best practices in data engineering 

Your profile: 

• A completed degree in computer science, business informatics, data science or a comparable qualification 
• Several years of experience in data engineering as well as in the development and operation of modern cloud data platforms 
• Solid knowledge of SQL, Python, data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, REST APIs, and data warehouse and lakehouse architectures. 
• Experience in integrating complex enterprise systems and dealing with heterogeneous data landscapes 
• Understanding of business processes and the requirements of data-driven organizations 
• Analytical, structured and quality-oriented work style combined with initiative and strategic thinking skills 
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to explain technical concepts in an understandable way.
