Completed studies or training in the field of computer science, business informatics or comparable – alternatively, relevant practical experience.
At least 5 years of professional experience as a Data Engineer, as well as sound knowledge of SQL (PostgreSQL), Data Vault modeling, and experience with ETL tools such as Airbyte and Apache Airflow for pipeline orchestration.
Experience in programming languages such as Python or Java, confident use of GitHub, a deep understanding of company-wide data and system landscapes, and experience in the introduction of standards and governance models.
Strong analytical skills, a confident demeanor and excellent communication skills – combined with the ability to provide competent advice to stakeholders, to take a solution-oriented approach and to demonstrate a high degree of customer and service orientation.
Independent, structured and team-oriented work style, openness to new technologies, and the willingness to quickly familiarize oneself with new topics and actively drive them forward.
Excellent German skills, both spoken and written (C1 level preferred)
