Are you a Data Engineer with experience in Azure environments and building robust data pipelines? Ready for your next big challenge?
We’re looking for a skilled and proactive Data Engineer to design, build, and manage a modern data ecosystem in Azure. You’ll play a key role in supporting a high-performing Data & Insight function—managing data lakes, enabling Power BI reporting, and contributing to a stable, scalable data environment that underpins decision-making across the business.

DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE:

• Azure Synapse Analytics (or equivalent)
• Python or PySpark
• PowerShell
• Visual Files

THE ROLE:

Working closely with the Head of Data & Insight and other stakeholders, you’ll:

• Design, build, and manage Azure-based data pipelines and architecture
• Support ingestion of data from multiple operational systems into a centralised data lake
• Collaborate with Power BI Analysts to optimise reporting performance
• Implement monitoring and proactive alerting across data processes
• Document data flows and processes end-to-end
• Stay current with developments in Data Engineering and Power BI to propose innovations

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Translate business requirements into technical data solutions
• Identify and integrate the correct data sources
• Schedule and manage ETL/ELT jobs for robust, efficient data movement
• Build and maintain re-engineering processes (e.g., CSAT scoring models)
• Support parallel development and production data environments
• Proactively improve data reliability, quality, and performance
