WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW/HAVE

  • A very strong knowledge of Data modeling on Data/Big Data tools and the datalake organization
  • A strong knowledge of Data manipulation and processing tools: apache beam, spark, spark streaming, hive, pig, presto, etc.)
  • A strong knowledge of Data transfer solutions: sqoop, nifi, kafka, event hub, data factory, pub/sub, etc.
  • A strong knowledge in a programming language for data manipulation: Python, Scala, Java
  • Excellent knowledge of the data stack of one public cloud platform (preferably GCP)
  • A good knowledge of Serverless solutions (Cloud functions, Amazon lambda) and PaaS solutions related to Big Data (Big Query, Azure DWH)
  • Very good knowledge in security
  • Knowledge of CI/CD processes and agility in general
  • A good knowledge of data and big data issues and in particular concerning performance
  • Advanced GCP certification would be a plus
Responsibilities
  • The ability to analyze and solve business problems with a strong results-oriented culture.
  • Excellent ability to work in English in an international context (and French would be a real plus)
  • Synthesis mind and ability to explain things in layman’s terms
  • Taste for dialogue with your “client”, understanding its needs and making it succeed
