Responsibilities

THE ROLE

The Technical Delivery team are currently transitioning from on-premises SQL server to the cloud (Azure) and require a Data Engineer to join their team on a permanent basis. The Data Engineer will be tasked with providing technical solutions to business problems. The ideal candidate will have good knowledge with of Data Engineering skills including developing and optimising stored procedures, developing ETL/ELT processes with Azure Data Factory (ADF).
£30,000 + up to 20% of your annual salary, paid as a bonus
This role is based at our Manchester Spinningfields, Blackpool or Skipton office with hybrid working options.

YOU SHOULD APPLY FOR THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE…

  • One/two years’ designing and deploying ETL/ELT solutions with Azure Data Factory (ADF)
  • One/two years’ experience with T-SQL, including Functions, CTEs, complex joins and query optimisation
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong data quality and governance skills
  • Strong teamwork, interpersonal and collaboration skills with colleagues and clients.
  • Can explain technical subjects to non-technical people.
