Info

Simply moving data from A to B isn't enough for you – you want to understand where data comes from and develop it further for the right impact?

At Pixum, you'll take on the entire end-to-end process: from technical tracking and loading processes to deep within the data warehouse. You'll have the freedom to try out modern solutions and build the foundation on which all of Pixum bases its decisions!

Your tasks

  • DATA WAREHOUSE: You will further develop our data warehouse together with the team, optimize SQL queries and indexes, and ensure a high-performance and stable data basis.
  • DATA INTEGRATION: You will connect new data sources, maintain existing load jobs, and further develop our Python-based load scripts and ETL processes.
  • TECHNICAL TRACKING: You design and implement reliable user and conversion tracking for websites and apps - using tools such as JENTIS, Usercentrics and Adobe Analytics, up to and including the integration of marketing and CRM systems.
  • DATA QUALITY: You monitor data flows, develop meaningful data models and monitoring systems, and independently investigate quality deviations.
  • DATA INNOVATION: You will help shape the migration of our data warehouse to a new infrastructure, test new approaches, and bring your own ideas from proof of concept to our dashboards.

Your profile

  • You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering or a similar field of study.
  • You have two or more years of professional experience in data engineering, technical tracking, or a comparable technical data environment.
  • You have very good SQL skills and practical experience with Python and ETL processes, and you have knowledge of ETL tools (for example, TimeXtender).
  • You can read, interpret and adapt HTML and JavaScript code and understand how tracking data is technically collected and passed on to different systems.
  • You have experience with tag management or server-side tracking solutions such as JENTIS, Google Tag Manager or Server-Side GTM and want to actively develop modern tracking setups.
  • You work proactively and responsibly, enjoy investigating technical causes, and communicate in a way that is appropriate for your different stakeholders.
