The role of Data Engineer is important to us.
You will be responsible for designing and building new data pipelines; modelling & transforming data ready for business insight and extending & transforming our data platform & data service capabilities.
Working alongside your Data Engineering colleagues in UK, Europe & US you will be part of our central Data Services & Reporting (DS&R) function. The DS&R Data Analyst team will then use your modelled datasets to deliver reporting and insight to Radius.
We operate a hub and spoke model when it comes to data. DS&R is the hub, working closely with business analyst teams as well as directly with stakeholders across the business. DS&R supports all 8 divisions in Radius, giving you a wide exposure to a range of departments, challenges and business models.
As well as your technical expertise, you will work with stakeholders to map requirements, understand business processes and manage small projects to support your data pipeline delivery.
The role is based from our head office environment in Crewe, Cheshire and is eligible for inclusion in our hybrid working policy (minimum 3 days per week in the office).

• Design, build & deliver new data pipelines; model & transform data at scale and support with analysis when needed. Work directly with stakeholders and manage your Engineering deliveries within small and medium projects.
• Grow and extend our data platform & data service capabilities guided by our Group Data Strategy, including AI & M/L data foundations and architecture.
• Support and daily monitoring to maintain the existing data platforms and services.
• Collaborate with your DS&R colleagues to improve your skills, team processes and team wellbeing.
