• Python (for scripting and automation)
• Data pipeline orchestration tools (e.g. Apache Airflow, AWS Step Functions)
• Databases: PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Neo4j, MinIO/S3
• RDBMS: MSSQL, PostgreSQL
• Schema design (Normalised, Denormalised, Star Schema)
• Data access authorisation and backup strategies
• Basic familiarity with BI tools like Tableau
• Operating systems: Windows, Linux
• Basic networking knowledge
• Experience with AWS tech stack

• Design, build, and maintain scalable and secure data pipelines
• Own the health and performance of pipeline infrastructure
• Monitor and improve data quality, reliability, and availability
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and software engineers
• Continuously look for ways to streamline and optimise data workflows
