One Redwood Make Your Own Weather Obsess over Customer Success Work the Problem Be Curious Own the Outcome Respect Each Other YOUR IMPACT Database Management & Data Governance: Manage and optimize our revenue-centric databases (e.g., Salesforce, marketing automation platforms, data warehouses), ensuring data quality, consistency, and accuracy. Maintain agreed upon ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to integrate data from various sources into a unified data model. Build and maintain data connections between various internal and external systems. Perform regular data audits, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective actions. Work with IT and engineering teams to improve data infrastructure, data warehousing solutions, and data accessibility. Strategic Partnership: Act as a trusted advisor to sales, marketing, and finance leaders, providing data-driven recommendations to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Proactively identify opportunities to leverage data for competitive advantage and operational excellence. Educate stakeholders on data best practices and the effective use of analytical tools. Collaborate with analysts and business users to understand data requirements. Maintain documentation of data processes and workflows. Support data quality initiatives and ensure the reliability of datasets used for analysis and reporting. YOUR EXPERIENCE Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline. Experience: 3+ years of experience in data engineering, ETL development, or database management, preferably within a Revenue Operations or Sales Operations function at a B2B software company. Proven experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and marketing automation platforms (e.g., Marketo). Strong experience with SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis. Demonstrated experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker). Experience with Python (pandas, numpy) or R. Experience in building and maintaining data warehouses and cloud data platforms; Google Cloud Platform experience is a plus. Experience with ETL processes and tools. Skills: Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational or cloud databases. Solid understanding of ETL concepts and data transformation principles. Experience with data integration tools or scripting languages. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Ability to translate business needs into data solutions. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex data concepts to non-technical audiences. Proactive, self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and accountability. Understanding of sales processes, SaaS business models, and key revenue metrics.
