We are seeking a talented Data Engineer to join a dynamic AI Product Team, working with large-scale datasets to enable cutting-edge AI and machine learning applications. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines, ensuring high-quality, reliable, and actionable data for analytics and AI-driven solutions. You will collaborate closely with data scientists and engineers to optimize workflows, implement transformations, and process structured and unstructured data across cloud platforms. Accountabilities: Build, maintain, and optimize scalable data pipelines to support data science and AI/ML initiatives. Ingest, clean, and transform large volumes of structured and unstructured data from multiple sources. Ensure data quality, validation, and consistency across datasets. Design and optimize ETL pipelines for efficient data processing and management. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver high-quality datasets. Utilize big data technologies such as Apache Spark, Snowflake, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Manage databases using SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB, optimizing queries and workflows. 2–3 years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar data-focused role. Strong SQL skills and proficiency with relational databases. Experience with data processing frameworks such as Apache Spark, Pandas, or PySpark. Proficiency in Python or another scripting language for data workflows. Understanding of data modelling, data warehousing, and ETL concepts. Ability to clean, transform, and validate large datasets, ensuring consistency and accuracy. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Bonus: experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), workflow tools (Airflow, DBT, Kafka), version control systems (Git), unstructured data processing, or preparation of data for ML workflows.
