Minimum required experience: 5 to 7 years. Location: remote (from Spain). Job Description We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer and Analyst with a proven track record of more than 3 years in data modeling, data warehousing, ETL development, and advanced SQL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and delivering insightful analytics dashboards that support business decision-making. Key Responsibilities Conceptualize, design, and evolve the current cost data model to meet expanding business needs. Develop and implement new ETL pipelines to support feature growth and data integration initiatives. Optimize and rework existing data flows for improved performance, scalability, and maintainability. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, document processes, and ensure alignment with business objectives. Build and maintain dashboards and BI reports that provide actionable insights and support operational and strategic decisions. Ensure data quality, performance, and scalability across multiple platforms and systems. Contribute to continuous improvement of data engineering practices, tooling, and automation. Work effectively independently or within agile teams, demonstrating ownership and a proactive approach. Technical Skills & Tools Data Platforms: Azure, AWS, Databricks (with Fabric), and Informatica. Preferred Experience: Snowflake (advantageous). Development & Integration: Advanced SQL, ETL design, data modeling, data warehousing, and basic API integration. Architecture & Delivery: CI/CD processes, Medallion architecture, and BI reporting. Visualization: Dashboard creation and performance monitoring. Requirements Minimum of 3 years’ experience in data engineering and analytics (5 years in total in IT). Strong expertise in data modeling, ETL processes, and SQL development. Fluent English, both written and spoken, for effective communication and documentation. Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities. Proactive, self-motivated, and capable of working autonomously or collaboratively in agile environments. Commitment to high-quality delivery, scalability, and continuous improvement. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Snowflake or other cloud-based data warehouse technologies. Knowledge of modern data architectures and best practices in data governance and pipeline optimization. Rate: 215€-235€/day.
