We are seeking a skilled and motivated Data Engineer to join a dynamic, fully remote team across LATAM. In this role, you will maintain and enhance critical data ingestion pipelines that enable high-quality, reliable data for key decision-making processes. You will work closely with engineers, data scientists, and stakeholders to optimize systems, improve observability, and ensure smooth, efficient data flows. Accountabilities Maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize data ingestion pipelines using Java and Python. Implement new features and improvements to ensure efficiency, scalability, and reliability. Write clean, testable, and well-documented code. Participate in code reviews and contribute ideas to elevate engineering practices. Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and stakeholders to improve data flow and observability. Stay up to date with emerging technologies and best practices in data engineering. 4+ years of experience as a Data Engineer. Strong proficiency in Java and Python. Solid problem-solving and analytical skills. Collaborative mindset and proactive attitude. Strong English communication skills (B2/C1 level) for frequent interactions with native speakers. Bonus: experience with Apache Beam or Apache Spark, observability tools (logging, metrics, tracing), and cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure. Competitive salary based on experience.
