This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Data Engineer in the United States. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines and warehouse solutions. In this role, you will support business intelligence and analytics initiatives by ensuring clean, reliable, and accessible data across the organization. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions, optimize ETL processes, and contribute to data governance and quality initiatives. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise in SQL, ETL, and data modeling with effective communication and problem-solving skills. Accountabilities Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes to support business intelligence reporting and analytics. Build and optimize data models, data warehouses, and data marts for reliable and efficient reporting. Collaborate with business analysts and BI developers to ensure data quality, consistency, and accessibility. Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data pipeline performance and reliability. Document data flows, transformation logic, and system configurations for internal reference. Support data governance initiatives by implementing standards and monitoring compliance. Translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions. Participate in cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data solutions that meet business needs. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or related field. Minimum of 1 year of experience in building data warehouse or business intelligence solutions. Strong proficiency in SQL and basic scripting languages such as Python. Solid understanding of relational databases, ETL tools, and data integration concepts. Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric components (OneLake, Lakehouse, Dataflows Gen2, Pipelines) or other data warehousing architectures is preferred. Knowledge of cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) is a plus. Experience with Star and Snowflake schema design and dimensional modeling is preferred. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and follow through on initiatives. Competitive salary range: $80,000 – $90,000 per year.
