Ensure data governance, security, and compliance standards are met. Monitor data systems performance and implement optimizations. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or a related field. Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role, ideally in a multinational corporation or for international clients. Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala. Expertise in SQL and experience with relational (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases. Hands-on experience with big data tools (e.g., Spark, Kafka) and cloud data services (e.g., AWS Glue/Redshift/S3, Azure Data Factory/Synapse, GCP BigQuery). Experience with data pipeline and workflow management tools (e.g., Airflow, dbt) is a strong advantage. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a meticulous attention to detail.
