For an established, technology-oriented company, we are seeking an experienced Senior BI Developer (m/f/d) specializing in Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and Azure for direct placement through PRIME HR Agency.

In this role, you will develop modern data solutions that help companies derive concrete insights and better business decisions from reliable data. In addition to traditional BI solutions, AI-powered applications, automations, bots, copilots, and AI agents are playing an increasingly important role.

You will work independently on challenging client projects and liaise directly with technical and business contacts on the client side.

Senior BI Developer (m/f/d)

- Development and enhancement of modern BI and data solutions based on Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and Azure

- Setup and maintenance of lakehouses, data warehouses, data pipelines, and notebooks

- Development of high-performance Power BI models, reports, and DAX calculations

- Creation and optimization of SQL-based data structures and data models

- Translation of business requirements into concrete technical implementation steps

- Independent coordination of technical issues with clients from IT and business departments

- Planning and estimation of development effort as well as structured implementation within agile project teams

- Development, testing, documentation, and productive deployment of data products

- Use of modern AI tools to optimize development, analysis, documentation, and quality assurance - Conception and implementation of AI-based data products for specific business use cases - Identification and testing of meaningful applications for automations, bots, copilots, and AI agents

- Transfer of successful AI prototypes into secure, maintainable, and production-ready solutions

- Experience working with version control and collaborative development processes, ideally With Git and Azure DevOps

- Early detection and communication of risks, data problems or unclear requirements; identification of optimization potential in existing data landscapes

; at least 4 years of professional experience in BI or data platform development

- Experience in collaborating with customers and/or business stakeholders

- Solid knowledge of the Azure data environment, especially Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Factory, or Synapse

- Practical experience with lakehouse and data warehouse concepts

- Excellent knowledge of Power BI, especially data modeling, DAX, and reporting

- Excellent SQL skills

- Confident handling of dimensional data modeling and star schema concepts

- Experience with ETL/ELT processes, data pipelines, and notebook-based workflows

- Experience in agile development environments and working with user stories, effort estimations, and sprint goals

- Knowledge of Git and modern collaborative development processes

- Experience with testing, deployment, and operation of production data solutions

- Excellent written and spoken English skills

- Proficient and responsible use of modern AI tools such as Copilot, Claude, Cursor, Codex, or similar solutions.
