Responsibilities:
Technica has an exciting opportunity to join our team in providing Information Technology Services to the FBI’s Information Management Division (IMD). This program is responsible for managing the development and maintenance of the Information Technology (IT) Systems supporting the Enterprise Vetting Center (EVC) within IMD. We are looking for a Data Engineer, Senior responsible for carrying out engineering tasks to deliver an advanced visual analytic application to include: developing data analytics for desktop and web-developed visual analytic software; facilitating the bulk analysis of relational information utilizing advanced graphics, visualization, and high-performance computing, as well as using the specified open source, COTS, and GOTS technologies; and establishing an application that produces manageable, actionable intelligence from streams of a structured and semi-structured data.
This position is located at the FBI facility in Winchester, VA. For select positions, the FBI may locate the position in Washington, D.C., however that will be determined by the customer. The government has established policies for on-site vs remote work which varies across divisions and contracts. Staff are obligated to adhere to these and other FBI policies and react accordingly as policies change over time. Where allowed, hybrid work must be coordinated with the team lead and/or government POC, ensuring there is zero interruption with the delivery of our services.

Requirements:

• Active Top-Secret Clearance w/SCI and CI Poly or ability to obtain CI Poly.
• Bachelors’ Degree and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 8 years related work experience.
• Experience developing an advanced visual analytic application that includes: developing data analytics for desktop and web-developed visual analytic software; facilitating the bulk analysis of relational information utilizing advanced graphics, visualization, and high-performance computing, as well as using the specified open source, COTS, and GOTS technologies
• Demonstrated experience establishing an application that produces manageable, actionable intelligence from streams of structured and semi-structured data.
