Description:
We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this crucial role, you will be instrumental in fostering a data-driven culture across our organisation, enabling departments to leverage data comprehensively and facilitating data teams in building models, AI, and machine learning solutions.
Your expertise will drive the development and maintenance of our state-of-the-art cloud-based data platform, which is central to powering our globally recognized brand. In this role, you will see a direct correlation between your work, company growth, and user satisfaction.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
- Experience working in an online, gaming, or fast-moving industry
- 3+ years of work experience in data engineers and data platforms
- Must have experience in successfully implementing data-centric applications, such as data warehouses, operational data stores, and data integration projects
- Experience with SQL, ETL, data modelling, and Python
- Proven experience with Bigquery
- Proficient with one or more big data & new data technologies such as DBT, Apache NiFi, Airflow, Kafka

- Build and maintain highly scalable and robust data management systems tailored to specific business needs and challenges.
- Ensure systems meet business requirements and industry practices for data integrity, security, and accessibility.
- Build, maintain, develop, test, deploy and enhance our data pipelines and systems
- Collaborate with data team and stakeholders including data architects, Executive and Product from the beginning to the delivery of a project
- Ensure the highest quality of data is made available throughout the entire organisation and systems meeting our SLAs
