The Data Engineer will play a key role in extracting, organizing, and managing blockchain and transactional data to support institutional staking solutions. You will develop and maintain the software infrastructure for data collection, indexing, and API delivery while ensuring data integrity and accessibility. The role involves close collaboration with internal teams to enable smooth data integration and analysis. Accountabilities: Extract and organize data from multiple blockchains using RPC, APIs, or smart contract calls. Develop and maintain software for collecting, indexing, and processing transactional data efficiently. Maintain a reliable API that ensures auditable account histories and meets SLAs. Monitor public blockchain sources to identify and track necessary data for analysis. Document data extraction processes, methodologies, and integration workflows. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless data flow across systems. 3–5+ years of experience with Python and SQL in data-intensive environments. Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and technologies such as TypeScript, Rust, AWS Athena, and Apache Airflow. Strong software engineering skills, including code readability, testing, and best practices. Experience with SQL databases, query optimization, and API development. Knowledge of blockchain nodes, decentralized technologies, and public source code analysis. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience. Passion for cryptocurrency, staking protocols, and decentralized finance ecosystems. Competitive salary range of $110,000 – $176,000, plus equity and bonus opportunities.
