They are seeking a talented Data Engineer to join their dynamic technology team in Leeds. The company operates across multiple international markets, leveraging cutting-edge technology to provide top-tier insurance products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and test new system features and applications using Azure Cloud technologies.
  • Provide support for multiple applications, ensuring seamless performance and quick resolution of any technical issues.
  • Build and maintain data pipelines and integrate data from various sources into cloud environments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity, security, and accessibility.
  • Optimise system performance and drive continuous improvement in data processing and cloud infrastructure.
  • Troubleshoot complex technical problems and provide 2nd and 3rd line application support as needed.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in Azure Cloud services, including Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, and related technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of Python, SQL, and data pipeline architectures.
  • Hands-on experience with data integration and working in a cloud-based environment.
  • Ability to troubleshoot, debug, and improve systems.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams.
  • A background in insurance, finance, or similar sectors is advantageous but not required.

PLEASE NOTE, THIS IS A HYBRID POSITION WITH 3 DAYS PER WEEK IN THE COMPANY’S LEEDS OFFICE.
