Description
The Product & Program Manager will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the organization’s enterprise data platform to support scalable operations, reliable reporting, and data-driven decision-making. This role serves as the technical owner of data integration across key systems and will establish structured pipelines, standardized data models, and quality controls to create a trusted single source of truth. As the organization continues to scale, this role will play a critical part in modernizing the data ecosystem, reducing manual reporting, and enabling governed, self-service analytics. Within the first year, the Data Engineer will build foundational pipelines, support platform modernization efforts, and improve access to consistent, reliable data across the business. Key Duties and Responsibilities: Data Engineering & Architecture Design and maintain scalable data pipelines integrating enterprise systems Build and manage centralized data warehouse structures Develop ETL/ELT processes to automate data ingestion and transformation Create standardized, reusable data models aligned with business definitions Data Quality & Reliability Implement automated validation and monitoring to ensure data accuracy Identify and resolve discrepancies across systems and reports Establish data lineage and improve dataset performance and reliability Analytics Enablement Partner with stakeholders to deliver optimized, certified datasets Support self-service analytics while maintaining governance standards Reduce reliance on manual reporting and ad hoc data request Platform Integration & Collaboration Support system integrations across operational and internally developed platforms Provide input into platform design and data structure standardization Collaborate with technical and business teams to align data solutions with business needs Data Governance Support data governance standards, policies, and best practices Contribute to data definitions, documentation, and cataloging Promote consistent and accurate data usage across the organization Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience) 4+ years of experience in data engineering, database development, or related roles Strong SQL and relational data modeling expertise Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines and data warehouse solutions (Azure preferred) Cloud platform experience (Azure preferred) Experience with business intelligence tools (Power BI preferred) Experience integrating multiple systems into centralized data environments Experience with low-code platforms (e.g., QuickBase) and programming experience (Python, C#, JavaScript, or similar) preferred.
