Job Description Essential Functions: Participate in the entire lifecycle, from design through the development and test processes to production support. Tasked with building and maintaining highly scalable data processing pipelines using BigData technologies and SOA architecture. Implement continuous integration, testing, deployment practices and automation frameworks to increase productivity. Work with architectural and security teams to design, build, and maintain services that are compliant and meet Visa security standards. Participate in cross-group and internal customer feature demos. Please note: This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager. Visa will not sponsor employment authorization for this role. Qualifications Basic Qualifications Minimum of 6 months of work experience or a Bachelor's Degree Preferred Qualifications Hands-on experience with all aspects of software development: data, server-side, and open-source software. Knowledge in AI/ML, especially solution building using ChatGPT and GenAI, Github Copilot Databricks, Kafka, Presto, Solr, Nifi, Airflow, Sqoop Willingness to adapt quickly and learn newer technologies Software development knowledge using Java or Python Basic knowledge and training in Bigdata technologies like Hive and Spark Ability to understand and write complex SQL queries for development & data analysis Basic experience on Unix and shell scripting Knowledge on standard CI/CD processes, specifically Jenkins CI/CD Additional Information Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department. Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time. Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.
