Description

Are you creative, inquisitive, curious, a technical all-rounder, in love with code and really keen to grow as a Data Engineer (m/f/d)?

Our Data Team is shaping the digital and data-driven future of our company. The team digitally reimagines existing processes, automates, predicts, analyzes, and models data in all its forms. We are looking for a Data Engineer (m/f/d) to join our team as soon as possible.

About Wall:

Wall GmbH is a specialist in street furniture and outdoor advertising and part of the globally operating JCDecaux Group, the industry leader. We equip our partner cities with future-oriented street furniture in public spaces, which is refinanced through outdoor advertising, thereby increasing the information and quality of life for millions of people. Through our sales brand WallDecaux, we market a portfolio of analog and digital billboard media in over 20 major German cities – including Berlin, Hamburg, Cologne, and Munich.

Your tasks:

  • You are responsible for the further development and maintenance of our cloud infrastructure.
  • You will be responsible for processing, modeling, and visualizing large amounts of data.
  • You develop various tools for the digitization of internal processes.
  • You are responsible for research and development within our data universe.
  • You will be responsible for scripting and automation across all areas of the company.
  • You will assist with maintaining master data.

Your profile:

  • You know how modern GenAI software workflows work and are fluent in Python and SQL.
  • You have initial experience in developing Agentic solutions.
  • You have a very good understanding of how to design and deploy (data) pipelines.
  • You enjoy delving into new and unfamiliar topics.
  • You speak fluent German.
  • You are self-organized, work reliably, and maintain an overview even when several topics are on your desk at the same time.
  • You like to think analytically and in a structured way, and you have a good sense of how things are connected and how data, processes and systems interact.
  • You enjoy working closely with different departments and translating requirements into data and GenAI solutions.
  • If you speak JavaScript (Node.js) and can develop full-stack apps, and have experience with Microsoft Azure, that rounds off your profile (otherwise you can simply learn it with us).
  • Ideally, you speak English at a B2 level.
  • Not all points apply to you? Nobody's perfect. We look forward to your application.
