The WHS Data team is hiring a Data Engineer (DE). The Data team spans the Business Intelligence (BI) and Data Engineering (DE) functional areas, and is responsible for providing all reporting solutions required by the WHS Organization to drive workplace safety and regulatory compliance worldwide. This role drives the design and implementation of data solutions within the Workplace Health and Safety domain, leveraging advanced AWS technologies and big data platforms to deliver scalable data architecture components. The position focuses on solving complex data warehousing challenges through automated ETL processes, optimized model deployments, and robust analytics tools that enable self-service capabilities. Working directly with stakeholders and technical partners, this role translates business requirements into actionable solutions while maintaining high standards of data governance and system performance. The role also champions innovation by evaluating emerging technologies, implementing best practices, and continuously enhancing the data infrastructure to meet evolving business needs.
