Description

Data modeling & architecture: You develop conceptual, logical and physical data models (star/snowflake schema, ideally also Data Vault) and classify target images such as Lakehouse, Medallion architecture or Data Mesh objectively – with a reasoned recommendation for the respective context, not according to trend.
Selecting the appropriate storage format: You evaluate relational, document, key-value, graph, and vector databases in terms of consistency, scalability, and cost, and make informed decisions for each use case.
Database expertise in depth:  You are proficient in SQL, including query tuning, execution plans, indexing and partitioning (e.g., PostgreSQL), and ideally have productive experience with NoSQL systems such as MongoDB, Cassandra, DynamoDB, or Redis.
Pipelines & Integration (Batch and Streaming): You design and operate data pipelines and have practical experience with Kafka (topics, partitioning, consumer groups, schema registry, exactly-once semantics).
Reporting & Analytics:  You use Power BI beyond classic reporting – with DAX, semantic modeling and row-level security.
