Data & BI for Finance Data & Insights (FDI) within Home Lending leads the strategy, delivery, and governance of data and analytics capabilities that transform how HL reports and analyzes financial performance. You will own the end‑to‑end lifecycle of Data products—defining data domains and sourcing authoritative data; building resilient models, pipelines, and semantic layers; delivering scalable dashboards; and enabling self‑service analytics. Partnering with Finance, Technology, and Operations, the role modernizes the reporting infrastructure, standardizes visualization and storytelling practices, and drives adoption across stakeholder groups. The VP establishes and monitors KPIs for data quality, timeliness, and user engagement; ensures controls, lineage, and metadata are maintained; and proactively resolves data issues. They manage and develop a high‑performing team, prioritize a roadmap aligned to CFO and senior leadership objectives, and translate complex analysis into clear narratives that inform strategy and execution.   Responsibilities: * Define and drive the data & BI strategy, roadmap, and operating model for the team * Lead delivery of enterprise-grade analytics: curated data sets, dashboards, self-service BI, and automated reporting * Oversee data modeling, pipeline development, and orchestration across batch and streaming workloads * Establish and enforce data governance, quality, lineage, and access controls in partnership with Risk & Controls * Partner with business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable, reusable solutions * Manage a high-performing team; recruit, coach, and promote a culture of accountability and continuous improvement * Own program governance: budgets, vendor management, OKRs, release planning, and stakeholder communications * Drive platform modernization and cost optimization across cloud and on-prem environments Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills * 10+ years in data engineering, analytics, or BI; 5+ years leading teams and programs * Expert SQL; proficiency in Python ; strong data warehousing and dimensional modeling * Hands-on with ETL/ELT and orchestration * Experience with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, ThoughtSpot) and semantic layer design * Knowledge of cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS/GCP/Azure, Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, Databricks) * Strong stakeholder management, communication, and roadmap ownership experience * Proven track record delivering secure, auditable, resilient data solutions at scale * Ability to collaborate and work as a team. * Problem solver and solution oriented.
