Job Title: Data Engineer II Description: In this role, you'll be building and maintaining scalable data pipelines and analytics solutions. Experience: 2–4 years   Location: Chennai, India  We're looking for a Data Engineer with 2–4 years of experience building and maintaining scalable data pipelines and analytics solutions. The ideal candidate has strong SQL, solid data warehousing and dimensional modeling skills, and hands-on experience with cloud platforms — preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You'll work with business stakeholders, analysts, and engineering teams to build reliable data solutions that power reporting, analytics, and AI-driven initiatives. Key Responsibilities * Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines. * Develop data models, dimensional schemas, and data marts for analytics and reporting. * Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance across platforms. * Optimize SQL queries and pipelines for performance and cost. * Partner with analytics teams to turn data requirements into technical solutions and curated datasets.   Required Skills * 2–4 years in Data Engineering with strong ETL/ELT and pipeline design experience. * Advanced SQL and a strong grasp of data warehousing, dimensional modeling, star/snowflake schemas, and facts/dimensions/metrics. * Hands-on GCP experience (BigQuery, Dataflow, Cloud Storage, Composer, Pub/Sub, etc.). * Proficiency in Python for data processing and automation.   Preferred (Added Advantage) * GCP Professional certification(s) and/or AI/ML certifications. * Familiarity with lakehouse architectures, Databricks, or data governance tools. * Looker/LookML semantic modeling and dashboard development. * Understanding of BI/reporting concepts; experience with tools like Looker, Power BI, or Tableau.
