Job Title: Senior Data Architect

Location: Walton Hall, Milton Keynes

Work Mode: Hybrid – 3 days per week in the office

Contract Duration: 9 Months

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Architect to define and lead enterprise data architecture, solution design, and modern data platform strategies using Microsoft Fabric. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in data integration, Lakehouse architecture, data modelling, and scalable analytics solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Define and own enterprise data architecture, roadmap, and target-state platforms using Microsoft Fabric.
Lead the design of scalable Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, Real-Time Analytics, and Power BI solutions.
Develop and implement effective ETL/ELT, data integration, and data migration strategies.
Design and implement Lakehouse and Medallion architectures, ensuring robust and scalable data solutions.
Drive data modelling practices, including Dimensional Modelling and Data Vault.
Support AI and GenAI adoption using Azure OpenAI, Copilot, RAG architectures, and advanced analytics capabilities.
Establish data governance, security, and compliance practices across enterprise data platforms.
