Data Engineering Manager | Hybrid | Inside IR35 | £500 - £550 | Exeter

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineering Manager to lead a high-performing data engineering function within a predominantly Microsoft technology environment. This is a largely hands-off leadership role focused on team management, delivery oversight, and establishing best practices, while maintaining a strong understanding of modern data engineering technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop a team of Data Engineers, providing coaching, guidance, and performance management.
• Drive the successful delivery of data and analytics projects from a technical and strategic perspective.
• Establish and continuously improve delivery processes, governance, and operational frameworks.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define priorities, roadmaps, and technical solutions.
• Ensure best practices across data engineering, architecture, quality, and security.
