Job Title: Data Entry Eligibility Coordinator Job Description The Data Entry Eligibility Coordinator is crucial in managing client intake and determining eligibility for various programs and financial assistance. The primary focus of this role is processing utility assistance applications, both mailed and walk-ins, ensuring accurate data entry into multiple systems. Responsibilities Process utility assistance mail-in and walk-in applications, entering client information into two databases: a state database and an internal database. Enter bio information, personally identifiable information, income details, pay stubs, utility bills, and household data to determine eligibility and enrollment. Complete internal documents to confirm application entry and save them to the client's electronic file. Contact clients via phone regarding missing or unclear information on their applications. Mail final notifications to clients regarding the status of their applications. Collaborate with various departments, programs, and services to ensure families receive maximum benefits. Attend staff meetings to provide insights and feedback. Essential Skills Proficiency in data entry and Microsoft Office applications. Experience with dual monitors. Prior computer/data entry experience, especially with a desktop. High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Work Environment Work is conducted in an office environment from Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, with limited overtime. The dress code is business casual, with jeans permitted on Fridays. Yoga pants, shorts, or sweats are not acceptable attire. The office culture is described as a small 'family' environment within a non-profit organization dedicated to giving back to the community. There is potential for top performers to be extended or converted, contingent on proven performance. Job Type & Location This is a 5 months contract position based out of Fort Wayne, Indiana. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $16.50 - $16.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
