We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Data Entry Clerk to join our growing Accounting & Finance team. This entry-level position offers a great opportunity to learn and grow within a collaborative environment while contributing to the smooth operation of our financial processes.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Data Entry Clerk will play a key role in supporting the accounting team by accurately entering, verifying, and processing financial data. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling invoices, payments, bank transactions, and reconciliations while ensuring all financial information is recorded correctly and on time.
This is a full-time, on-site role based at our Calgary head office.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma required; post-secondary coursework in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration is an asset.
  • 0–2 years of related experience; perfect for recent graduates or candidates looking to start their accounting career.

TECHNICAL SKILLS

  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel (formulas, worksheets, data sorting) required.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics GP or similar ERP/accounting software is an asset.
  • Experience with Bistrack or other business intelligence tools is considered an advantage.

SOFT SKILLS

  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple priorities.
  • Effective communication skills for interacting with vendors and internal teams.
  • Proactive problem-solving and willingness to learn.
