Description
The Data Entry Clerk is responsible for collecting all required paperwork before QC tests incoming materials. The ideal person will have some understanding in Chemistry and Biology, attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to work effectively alone with office skills. Data Entry tasks will include but not limited to: * Coordination between Purchasing/Planning for vendor CoA’s, Receiving and QC   * Check in received Chemicals – Check the CoA’s match material received * Enter in information from the vendor CoA into QMS300, both testing data and additional information in external text boxes * Process Recontrols – Check that material from suggested recontrol has the required testing completed to be able to transfer to the other catalog number * Set Red Flag whenever something is different from the previous inspection record – for QC to review * Organize materials that cannot be processed by QC because of missing data – Keep after people involved to get required information * Specification Transfer/ creation from Lotus into Infor * Enter in diet/cappel/manufactured products details into the QMS300 internal text boxes  * Scan all paperwork and add them to the inspection records for each material received * Any other tasks assigned by Supervisor/Manager  Education/Experience: * High school or above, associate’s degree or equivalent work/school experience preferred.  * 1-3 years of experience  * Proficient computer skills – Microsoft Office product  * Attention to detail * Proficient verbal and written communication skills.  * Knowledge of lab safety protocols and procedures.  * The ability to collaborate effectively.
