Description

Pridestaff is looking for a Data Entry and Logistics Support Specialist who is responsible for accurately and efficiently entering, updating, and managing transportation and inventory data within the company’s system. This role is vital for maintaining up-to-date records, tracking shipments, and supporting overall supply chain efficiency for both import and export services.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in a data entry, administrative, or clerical role, preferably within the logistics or transportation industry.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency with logistics management systems, ERP software, and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Solid communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • An analytical mindset with a process-oriented approach.
    Job Types: Full-time, Temp-to-hire, Temporary
    Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
    Expected hours: 40 per week

Responsibilities
  • Data entry: Enter shipment details, container information, quantities, and other relevant information from shipping documents and inbound paperwork into the database.
  • Logistics tracking: Monitor vessel and container transit schedules, track delivery appointments, and provide accurate shipment status updates.
  • Document processing: Accurately process and file import/export paperwork, bills of lading, and other logistics-related documents.
  • Data verification: Verify the accuracy of data before entry to ensure all codes, dates, and numbers are correct and consistent with vendor paperwork.
  • Communication: Coordinate with internal logistics coordinators, warehouse staff, and vendors to resolve discrepancies or ensure timely and accurate documentation.
  • Compliance support: Assist the account management team by ensuring import and customs documents are submitted in time.
  • Reporting: Help generate reports to track and analyze logistics data, supporting supply chain operations.
