In this role you will help Mid Valley Disposal by supporting our CSR Team and will be responsible for receiving the incoming calls and entering order for a specific line of business. The successful candidate will have excellent customer service experince and analytical skills, excel experince, enjoy reviewing and entering data, organizational and time management skills, verbal and written communication skills, record keeping skills, problem solving skills and computer skills.

SUMMARY:

The Data Entry clerk is responsible for inputting data and making changes to existing data figures in digital databases. Their duties include inputting data from paper documents into digital spreadsheets, updating customer order statuses, and double-checking their work to ensure they inputted data correctly.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Data entry experience or related office experience
Responsibilities
  • Maintains database by entering new and updated customer and account information.
  • Processes customer and account source documents by reviewing data for deficiencies.
  • Maintains data entry requirements by following data program techniques and procedures.
  • Verifies entered customer and account data by reviewing, correcting, deleting, or reentering data.
  • Purges files to eliminate duplication of data.
  • Maintains operations by following policies and procedures and reporting needed changes.
  • Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Takes ownership of issues on customer service questions, researching and providing solutions rather than escalating problems that can be resolved at the first point of contact.
  • Communicate relevant information effectively and coherently to customers and coworkers.
  • Acts professionally, courteously, and cooperatively toward customers and coworkers.
