POSITION OVERVIEW

Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking a temporary Data Entry & Office Support Specialist for their client, located in Watsonville, California. This role is essential for providing short-term support to the Watsonville office, focusing on accurate and timely data entry while also assisting in dispatch, customer service, and general office duties as needed. The position requires onsite work with no remote option available.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
  • Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable interacting with drivers, supervisors, and customers.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) or similar software.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least one (1) year of administrative, clerical, or office experience required.

Responsibilities

Our client is seeking a temporary Data Entry & Office Support Specialist to provide short-term support to our Watsonville office. The primary responsibility will be accurate and timely data entry, with additional support in dispatch, customer service, and general office duties as needed. This is an in-office role with no remote option.

  • Enter driver information including time in/out, vehicle details, odometer/engine hours, and fuel logs.
  • Input landfill data such as destination, fees, ticket numbers, and route times.
  • Maintain accurate records by verifying, logging, and following up on any missing data.
  • Answer incoming calls, assist customers, and provide front desk coverage as needed.
  • Support dispatch by monitoring driver radios, relaying information, and closing work orders.
  • Assist with printing routes, maps, and reports.
  • Receive and process customer payments.
  • File, organize, and maintain office records.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
