JOB SUMMARY:

The Data Entry Processor is responsible for accurately inputting and maintaining customer and transactional data within the bank’s systems. This role ensures timely and error-free data processing to support banking operations, regulatory compliance, and customer service.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field is an advantage.
  • 1–2 years of experience in data entry or administrative support, preferably in the banking or financial services sector.
  • Strong typing speed and accuracy (minimum 50 wpm).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and core banking systems (e.g., Finacle, Temenos, Flexcube).
  • High attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
  • Excellent time management and ability to work under pressure.
  • Basic understanding of banking operations, terminology, and compliance requirements.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Prior experience in processing retail banking or corporate banking forms.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements like KYC, AML, and GDPR.
  • Knowledge of document scanning and archiving software.

Responsibilities
  • Accurately enter, update, and verify customer and transaction information in banking databases.
  • Process financial documents such as loan forms, deposit slips, account opening forms, and transaction records.
  • Maintain data integrity and confidentiality in accordance with bank policies and regulatory standards.
  • Perform regular data audits to identify and correct errors or inconsistencies.
  • Ensure proper documentation and filing of all processed data.
  • Support internal departments by retrieving and providing requested data reports or records.
  • Adhere to deadlines and service-level agreements for data processing tasks.
  • Escalate discrepancies or issues to relevant departments for resolution.
  • Assist in the automation and improvement of data management processes when required.
  • Participate in training and compliance programs related to banking regulations (e.g., AML, KYC).
