Responsibilities:

  • Input and update patient information, medical records, and other essential data into the electronic health record (EHR) system and databases.
  • Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and confidentiality of data while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
  • Verify and correct data discrepancies by conducting regular audits and cross-referencing with source documents.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports and summaries for management and healthcare professionals.
  • Collaborate with healthcare staff to gather information and clarify data entry requirements.
  • Maintain organized electronic and physical filing systems for easy retrieval of patient data.
  • Support administrative tasks as needed, including scanning, printing, and sorting documents.
  • Stay updated with policies and procedures related to data entry and patient information management.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in data entry or administrative support is a plus.
  • Proven experience in data entry, preferably within a healthcare setting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and experience with EHR systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data management.

    • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare procedures is preferred.
