REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 1 year experience in a data entry role within a supermarket
  • Familiarity with supermarket purchasing and inventory processes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions
  • Basic knowledge of finance/accounting principles (e.g. invoicing, ledger entries, financial reports)
  • Fast and accurate typing skills
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Immediate availability is highly preferred
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: AED1,700.00 - AED1,800.00 per month

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are looking for a meticulous and efficient Data Entry Specialist to join our team at a leading hypermarket in Abu Dhabi. This role requires more than just data entry skills – the ideal candidate will have a solid grasp of Excel and a basic understanding of finance and accounting, as they will be handling report generation and financial data tasks.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Accurately input and update data in internal systems and Excel sheets
  • Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly operational and financial reports
  • Use Excel functions (e.g. VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and Formulas) for data analysis and reporting
  • Collaborate with the Finance and Accounts teams for data verification and reconciliation
  • Organize and maintain records, files, and supporting documents
  • Uphold data accuracy, confidentiality, and integrity at all times
