Gundersen Health System is seeking a detail-oriented and self-driven individual to join our team as a Charge Entry Specialist. This position plays a vital role in supporting our Mid Revenue Cycle operations. WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Accurately and efficiently enter charges to patient and institutional accounts within 3–5 days of receipt.
• Input CPT/EAP and diagnosis codes while ensuring correct insurance, provider, and department details.
• Analyze reports with financial impact and assist with reporting and trending projects.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality at all times.
• Communicate effectively with Revenue Cycle staff and external facilities to ensure accurate billing.
• Participate in training and compliance programs to stay current with data entry procedures.
• Support departmental goals by adapting to changing priorities and contributing to team success.
