Job Title: Data Entry Specialist
Department: Production
Reports to: Production Value Stream Manager
Effective Date: 10/10/2024

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:

• Must be at least 21 years old, as required by state law.
• Thorough knowledge of MS Excel.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other staff members.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Proficient typing skills and experience working with Windows, Microsoft Office, and Google Suite.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• A high school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of experience as a data entry specialist.
• 1+ years of experience in an HR-related role is preferred.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

• Collect and digitize data from various sources, including employee attendance, headcount forecasts, and other production-related data.
• Maintain a detailed and organized storage system to ensure data entries are complete and accurate.
• Establish data entry standards by continually updating filing systems to improve data quality.
• Address data inconsistencies by working with administrative staff to locate missing data.
• Respond to data queries and report any major data errors to management.
• Adhere to best practices for data management while maintaining a high standard of accuracy and efficiency.
