Description

Pro Resources is seeking a Data Entry Specialist for a client in Milford, IN. The Data Entry Specialist role is essential in maintaining the accuracy of production systems, supporting manufacturing operations, and ensuring data integrity within Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365). The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to trouble shoot system issues while supporting the production team. This role will work closely with the production, purchasing, and engineering teams in a fast-paced marine manufacturing facility. Apply Today!

Shift and Compensation

  • 1st Shift Monday-Friday 6 AM-2:30 PM
  • Pay : $22 / hour

Job Duties

  • Bill of Materials (BOM) Entry: Enter new and updated BOMs into the system with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Production Data Maintenance: Update production records, including part numbers and related data, to ensure that current and reliable information is available.
  • Production Support: Assist production staff with part lookups and information retrieval as needed.
  • Raw Material Setup: Create and maintain raw material part records, including vendor details, unit of measure, costing, and other specifications.
  • Part Setup Verification: Ensure all parts setups are accurate, complete, and fully updated to support efficient production workflows.
  • Revision Tracking: Maintain revision history of parts and BOMs to support traceability and quality compliance.
  • System Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues within D365, working with IT or system support teams as needed.
  • BOM Changes and Work Order Accuracy: Update BOMs and correct work orders to maintain inventory accuracy and avoid production disruptions.
  • Costing Roll-Up: Support costing processes by ensuring proper roll-ups of part and BOM costs within the system.

Background Profile

  • Prior experience in data entry, production support, or manufacturing operations preferred.
  • Experience in the marine furniture industry preferred.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) or similar ERP systems strongly desired.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to enter and manage data accurately.
  • Good organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot system or data issues.
  • Excellent communication skills for supporting cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
