Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Data Generalist (all genders), you will be the bridge between our data and business decisions, working across our tech stack of PHP, Next.js, Vue.js, and Flutter. You will extract, analyse, and interpret data to drive strategic initiatives and operational improvements. Your ability to turn raw data into actionable insights will be crucial for optimizing our marketplace platform and enhancing the customer experience as we continue to scale internationally.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • You collect, process, and analyse data from various sources to uncover patterns, trends, and insights.
  • You build and maintain data pipelines, ensuring data quality, reliability, and accessibility.
  • You develop dashboards and visualisations that communicate key metrics and business insights to stakeholders.
  • You collaborate with product, marketing, and engineering teams to identify data needs and provide analytical support.
  • You implement data-driven strategies to improve marketplace efficiency, user engagement, and conversion rates.
  • You perform A/B testing and experiments to validate hypotheses and measure the impact of new features.
  • You create predictive models to forecast marketplace trends, inventory needs, and user behavior.
  • You establish data governance practices to ensure data quality and consistency throughout the organisation.
  • You identify opportunities for process automation and optimisation using data analysis.
  • You leverage AI and machine learning techniques to extract deeper insights and automate data analysis tasks.
  • You optimise SQL queries and database performance for our growing data volume.
