Our people make all the difference in our success. ------------------------------------------------------ The purpose of this role is to ensure support the Enterprise Data Domain Lead team within the Enterprise Data Office (EDO). This new team is being established to ensure effective sustainable operation of the firm's Data Domains which are the ongoing mechanism for the management of data quality in each business line and functions. Proven ability to work with high levels of ambiguity Strong knowledge of data, data processing, data technology Strong basis of process and control management; with a clear focus on people management, control timeliness, accuracy, and completeness on all aspects of the data lifecycle Process engineering knowledge, including the ability to understand data flows Knowledge of metrics, Risk and Control design Knowledge and ability to present, develop reports and identify process, and data improvements Knowledge of banking products Attention to detail is crucial Constructive Debate, Data Governance, Data Management, Data Quality, Internal Controls, Management Reporting, Policy and Procedure, Program Management, Risk Controls and Monitors, Risk Management. ------------------------------------------------------ For complementary skills, please see above and/or contact the recruiter. ------------------------------------------------------ Overseeing the Data Domain Framework: Ensuring and overseeing the implementation of the Data Domain Taxonomy and the Data Domain Operating Model. Managing CDE Onboarding: Defining the process to ensure that new Critical Data Elements (CDEs) are unique, have the correct metadata, and are properly assigned within the taxonomy. Defining Governance Requirements: Establishing the governance requirements for CDEs. Approving Changes: Reviewing and approving requests for new Data Domains or changes to existing ones. Maintaining the Enterprise Glossary: Working with Technology owners to ensure the Enterprise Data Glossary remains aligned with evolving business, regulatory, and industry needs. Training and Development: Ensuring that Data Managers and Data Leads are properly trained. Performance Metrics: Defining and tracking key performance metrics for Enterprise Data, including Data Domains and CDEs. Lead calls with stakeholders for remediation of identified issues; escalate potential issues to ensure that Domains are meeting expected sustainability standards. Conduct analysis of detailed metrics to identify opportunities, areas of concerns, trends and provide meaningful insight to stakeholders. Execute processes for the management of the Data Domain taxonomy including approvals of changes to structure and individuals' roles.
Responsibilities
The Data Governance Analyst will oversee the implementation of the Data Domain Taxonomy and Operating Model, manage the onboarding of Critical Data Elements, and define governance requirements. They will also maintain the Enterprise Glossary and track key performance metrics for Enterprise Data.
