Reporting to the Senior Data Governance Manager, the Data Governance Analyst will be instrumental in optimising the value of our data. You be part of a close knit team, assisting in integrating all aspects of the Data Governance Framework. Your responsibilities will include guaranteeing that the Openwork Group can leverage top-notch and reliable data for evaluating performance, gaining insights, and making informed decisions.

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

  • Help to build out the data governance capability across the organisation, iterating the governance framework.
  • Build data structures (reports and dashboards) that support stakeholders in improving their access to data.
  • Support the embedding of the data governance framework, including policies, standards, and controls.
  • Work with the business to produce Data standards (+ other artefacts) & data quality rules for business-critical data.
  • Prepare admin for Data Governance Council, Operational Forums & other governance mechanisms (Agendas, slides,minutes, action & decision logs).
  • Chair the Operational Forums, ensuring they deliver meaningful value for the Governance office, and stakeholders alike.
  • Assess & Improve quality of data used within Openwork.
  • Work with stakeholders to understand their needs and manage expectations in line with the broader business requirements.
  • Provide training to data owners and stewards to best utilise tools to access, understand, and interpret datasets and reports.
  • Build effective relationships across the Partnership.
  • Support building the Openwork data community to ensure best practice across the Partnership.
  • Help the business to become more data mature.
