ABOUT THE ROLE

Work with various stakeholders to deliver Standards Australia’s data strategy, including the creation of data management procedures to support the business. Define and deliver strong data governance policies and practices across SA.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Champion and support an organisational understanding of the role of data
• Understand and contribute to the definition of the type of data captured across the business
• Develop and define data governance policies and procedures
• Define data management processes
• Define and monitor data quality across Standards Australia
• Monitor alignment to data governance policy, standards and best practices for data management
• Improve the design of data stewardship and governance processes in alignment with Standards Australia’s data strategy and roadmap
• Collaborate and partner with the Security and Architecture Team and other stakeholders to support the data solutions build and to assure best governance practices are in place for the current and future data solutions
• Establish, educate and promote best practices for dashboard and visualisation management
• Ensuring large and complex data is accessible, understandable and usable
• Support leaders and managers in developing dashboards, reports and control systems
