About the role Focus: Data security, classification, and compliance alignment during migration. What you'll do Define and enforce data governance policies across migrated workloads (PII, PHI, CJIS data) for Auxo's client(s). Establish data classification and tagging frameworks using Azure Purview / Information Protection. Validate that data movement and storage comply with CFB and government regulations. Partner with DevOps and Architect teams to integrate logging, audit, and retention into pipelines. Oversee RBAC and key management practices across environments. Partner with Principal Architect to ensure compliance inheritance and documentation for audits. Define KPIs for data governance readiness and support training/knowledge transfer. Qualifications A Bachelors' Degree in a related field, along with at least 5 years' experience in data governance and/or cloud compliance. Expertise in FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, CJIS, or ISO 27001. Familiarity with Azure Policy, Purview, Defender for Cloud, Sentinel. Experience supporting security assessments and audit documentation. Excellent coordination skills between technical and compliance stakeholders. Experience working in Agile or hybrid project management methodologies. Other Info The successful candidates may be hired as W2 contractor. This is a contract role, expected to last 6-12 months with possibility of extension and conversion. Team members must be able to adhere to working hours of 8:30am - 5:30pm EST, Monday through Friday. The successful candidate will undergo background checks including employment and education verifications, as well as location verifications. While this role is remote, infrequent travel to client sites may be needed. NO AGENCIES PLEASE.
