ASSIGNMENT DESCRIPTION

  • Define and maintain the enterprise fundamentals of data governance to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data.
  • Guide TDI in navigating and managing data-related risks and establishing robust governance protocols.
  • Advocate for data sharing and data availability practices that are secure, compliant, and aligned with our vision of a data driven company.

Your Impact: As a proactive Data Governance and Compliance Specialist, you will:

  • Develop our direction for lean, more automated, user-friendly and safe data risk and compliance governance
  • Act as team lead for data risk and compliance.
  • Serve as the TDI Data Privacy Contact Person (DPCP), delivering decisive Data Legal Risk Assessments (LRAs).
  • Implement and define data risk and compliance governance, best practices, standards.
  • Offer your expertise, services, and advisory support on data risk and compliance issues.
  • Support data product development by defining data Rights to Use and terms and conditions.
  • Establish an overview of data subscriptions for the purposes of data reuse and cost saving.
  • Cultivate trust and collaboration with key stakeholders, harmonizing data risk and compliance management.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field. Other education may be considered.
  • A background in data, IT, risk, security, legal, contractual, commercial, or related fields.
  • Motivation and interest to develop/sharpen skills & knowledge within digital, data, risk and compliance.
  • Any experience with data governance, data management, and data compliance will distinguish you as a candidate.
  • Knowledge of the new regulations/standards that are shaping the future of data governance in Europe is a plus.
  • Strong networking, communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A proven track record of delivering results independently and through collaborative efforts.
  • Language requirements: English and Norwegian
