Description

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

  • 5+ years of professional experience in big data management including a university degree in Engineering, IT, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or equivalent program.
  • Expert knowledge of data governance concepts, not limited to metadata, data quality, lineage, data protection and organizational accountability.
  • Expertise in data technologies and the use of data to support software development, advanced analytics, and reporting.
  • Extensive experience implementing data storage solutions, managing, and developing data processing, and optimizing data solutions (Azure).
  • Expertise in integrating, transforming, and consolidating data from structured and unstructured data systems suitable for analytics solutions.
  • Understanding of parallel processing and data architecture patterns.
  • Knowledgeable in data processing languages such as SQL, Python, Go, Java, or Scala.
  • Experience in building secure data processing pipelines using Azure data services.
  • Knowledge of basic TCP/IP protocols, REST and RPC protocols. Familiar in developing code in IDE’s like VSCode, PyCharm etc. with knowledge of basic code versioning in GIT.
  • Ability to work with minimal or no supervision; ability and initiative to organize various functions necessary to accomplish department activities or goals and be a strong team player.

DESIRABLE SKILLS:

  • Azure Storage Explorer/Data Studio, Synapse /Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake Gen 2
    Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
