Description: For this position, we are looking for a Data Governance Lead to assist one of our client - a leading global investment bank. Our client is operating multiple private banks that share a common Information System (IS). This IS is managed by a global IT department providing IT application development and IT support from multiple locations in Europe and Asia. Work as part of the Data Custody Information Office team (DCIO) on WM Data Governance (Data Quality, Data literacy, Data Lineage/Architecture, Data Privacy by Design, Data Protection workstreams). Supports Chief Data Office (CDO) within Wealth Management IT organization. Drive the Data initiatives transversally with WM Leadership, Application Development & Maintenance (ADM), Architecture (S&A), Engineering & Production (E&P), Security (CISO) teams. Support the development & testing of software & applications that support Data Management and Governance processes. Responsibilities: Support DCIO on Data related initiatives e.g., RAMI (Data Retention), Data Privacy, Data Quality, etc. In charge of leading execution of Internal Controls related to Data + new adaptations required by the Group SPOC within Wealth Management operationally managing DCIO activities and closely working with DPO (Data Protection Officer) / CDO (Chief Data Officer) teams. Project management (Business’ need + specification and implementation) on Data Lineage tool Contributing Responsibilities: Collaborate with following roles: Project managers/business analyst of major transversal projects he is assigned to Tech leads/developers to understand the architecture of the applications/screens and analyze potential issues Application owner to update the referential information on applications Production team to check the availability/compatibility with infrastructure/Cloud services Enterprise Architects and Solution Architects Ensure the reference documentation is updated all along the changes brought by projects: Data related information in Application referential Data related information in IT architecture diagrams Application non-conformities and remediation plans regarding data governance Data Architecture principles, checklist, guidelines Minimum 10 years of experience in roles involving Data expertise (Data Governance, Data Quality, Data Privacy & Protection, Data Management) and delivering projects Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Computer science or Electronic & Communications) Skills required: Expert knowledge in Collibra, and good knowledge in PowerBI, Excel, Sharepoint, SQL, Python Self-motivated and results driven Strong communication to elaborate across stakeholders, and support change General knowledge of Wealth Management products and applications Knowledge about Data and Compliance / Regulatory environment (global and local Data Regulations in Apac and in Europe) Understand how data is used (e.g., Analytics, Business Intelligence, etc.) Awareness of Data lifecycle, and Data Transformations / Data Lineage Data Quality, Data Architecture, Database Management Data Privacy & Protection, Security of data Ability to define relevant key performance indicators (KPI) Proficient in designing and documenting new processes, adaptation of Group IT processes to Wealth Management IT Problem solving and team collaboration (plus) Project management and business analysis experience (plus) Agile methodology Regular team buildings 18 leave days / year Insurance, GP, Dental, Optical Annual bonus Working hours: from 9am to 6pm, Monday to Friday Training and certifications paths
