• Analysis of the professional business processes and the data used for them in the New York-based corporation
• Further development of the data strategy and technical concepts of our data governance framework, with a particular focus on data quality and metadata management.
• Implementation of the Data Governance Roadmap
• Introduction of data management methods and technologies with a focus on improving our data quality
• Participation or (partial) project management in strategy, analysis, and implementation projects in the field of data governance from both a technical and technological perspective.
• Stakeholder management and conducting innovation and requirements workshops with specialist departments and management, as well as presenting the results at all management levels.
• Advising specialist departments / data owners in their role as data stewards, in carrying out their activities in the data governance context, or in resolving data quality incidents.

THAT CONVINCES US

• Successfully completed studies or a comparable educational path
• Several years of professional experience with topics such as data governance, data management, data strategy, data catalog, data quality management, etc.
• Excellent analytical skills and a high level of comprehension.
• Expertise in developing state-of-the-art tools in the areas of data governance, data quality, master data and metadata management
• Knowledge of various database systems, programming languages
• Industry knowledge in the retail sector is an advantage.
• Good German and English skills
• Independent, proactive and structured work style, resilience and assertiveness
